Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete has impressive online audience
Kai Trump will have numerous high-profile cheerleaders as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates several courses worldwide and regularly plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions this year and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA standings.
Yet she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.
"He represents the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's a superior person. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."
The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that involving Kai exposes golf to different demographics, particularly reaching the next generation.
Kai boasts substantial online presence and has started a personal fashion and living label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
