The loved ones of young people lost after a deadly inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are enduring an agonising period of uncertainty for confirmed information and requesting information about their loved ones via social media.

The fire ripped through the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Circulated video show the ceiling igniting as bottles with fireworks are raised in celebration.
